Lapis lazuli is considered the most sacred stone in Tibetan Buddhism, as its deep blue corresponds to the colour of the Medicine Buddha Bhaisajyaguru. For thousands of years, this stone has been revered by cultures around the world and used in spiritual practices.

This handcrafted mala consists of 108 lapis lazuli beads, each approximately 8 mm in diameter. The intense blue symbolises the vastness of the Dharmakaya, the ultimate reality, while the golden pyrite inclusions appear like stars in the night sky, representing wisdom that cuts through darkness.

Lapis lazuli is regarded as the stone of transformation. It is believed to help transform suffering into health and ignorance into enlightenment. In meditation, it supports awareness, promotes intuition, and spiritual clarity. The stone is associated with the throat and brow chakras and is connected with the ability to speak truthful words.

The mala can be used as prayer beads for meditation, worn as a necklace, or wrapped around the wrist as a bracelet.
