A gift set is more than the sum of its parts. In the Tibetan tradition, objects are rarely seen in isolation: a singing bowl belongs with its striker, a statue with a place of stillness, incense with a moment of collectedness. Our sets follow this inner logic; their composition is not arbitrary but has grown out of the tradition.
Three altar sets in a gift box bring together, among other things, a small Buddha statue, a wooden mala, prayer flags, incense sticks and incense cones, everything needed to set up a small home altar. The Gom set combines a Medicine Buddha statue, a sandalwood mala and a small singing bowl with striker. The Norbu Mebar set brings jewellery together: a necklace with a Dzi bead, a wooden bracelet, a prayer wheel pendant and a key ring with a double dorje.
The statues, the gift boxes of handmade rice paper and the brocade pouches are handcrafted by Tibetan artisans in the Himalayas, so no two sets are exactly alike. If you prefer to put together your own, you will also find our Tibetan gift boxes individually.
