What sets Tibetan jewellery apart from everything else?

The answer lies in meaning. Tibetan jewellery was never worn merely as decoration. It recalls an intention, accompanies everyday life and connects you with a tradition that reaches far beyond the visible. A bangle bearing the mantra Om Mani Padme Hum is not a fashion accessory but a prayer you carry with you. By Tibetan custom, a red lucky cord is tied as a blessing and passed on. The dorje, the endless knot or the Eight Auspicious Symbols: these symbols give every piece a story older than any fashion.

The copper and brass bangles, the braided lucky cords, the rings, pendants and amulets are handcrafted by Tibetan artisans in the Himalayas, so no two are exactly alike. Small irregularities are not flaws but the trace of the hand that made the piece. Over time it develops a patina and becomes ever more familiar to you.

Alongside jewellery, you will find scarves, hats and Tibetan shirts here, as well as bags and rucksacks in cotton, hemp and brocade. We are Tibetans ourselves. Many of these pieces we have known since childhood, and some we wear ourselves. Everything in our shop we have held in our hands and chosen personally.
