This beautiful prayer beads made of 108 Bodhiseed beads. Bodhi means "awakened" or "enlightenment" in Sanskrit. Buddhists use the malas for prayer or during meditation practices to attain spiritual awakening and to be liberated from the cycle of life.
The Bodhi tree (Pipal tree) is considered a sacred tree for Buddhists and Hindus. It is said that the tree protects people from evil eye and keeps away terrible dreams.
The prayer beads comes in a beautiful brocade pouch. The color and design of the pouch may vary from the picture.
